If you are like me, and using a cable modem, sometimes it just does not want to work with you.
After resetting your cable modem, which you probably already know how to do. (The easiest way is to simply unplug and replug your modem) if your internet is still not working, give this a shot before you call your ISP.
Click on start -> click on run.
type in cmd
type in: ipconfig /flushdns
wait for it to finish and type: exit
What you did was force your pc to dump its current dns record and get a fresh one. This may solve some issues if you cant hit the websites your looking for as your PC's DNS records might be out of date.
