Many people understand the idea of keywords, and how they help your site get seen. Internet users go to google, and type in some query, and google blows through thier databases looking for keywords that match.

Now, how can you use that on your page? What if others have the same keywords, who gets that all important front page listing on google?

One of the main factors is the placement of your keywords on your page, infact, its more important than keywords in the meta tag.

You want your keywords that are really important near the top, because in the eyes of the monster that is google, the higher on the page, the more important the keyword is.

Couple that with some clever bolding of your keywords, and you may do quite well. :)
