Are you having problems with spyware or adware? There are a few steps you may try before you decide to get further help. Here are some steps you can try:
1. Use a system restore point. In XP go to Start->All Programs->Accessories->System Tools and select System Restore. Select a bold date that is a date before you experienced issues. Once the system restore point completes successfully, make sure your antivirus is a good one and is current. AVG is a free antivirus that works quite well. We do not recommend using Norton's or McAfee's. Run a full scan on your system with your antivirus. After that, we recommend you use a free antispyware program such as Adaware, Spybot Search and Destroy, and Windows Defender.
2. If you have no System Restore points available, make sure you have an up-to-date antivirus and run a full scan. Also try downloading the above mentioned antispyware programs and run them.
3. If you continue to have problems, don't worry, we can help! Just give us a call and we'll be glad to help in any way we can.
