When surfing the internet, you pick up cookies and history along the way stored in Internet explorer. While most the time this is harmless, it can sometimes lead to unwanted results.
Cookies and your browser history identifies where you have been, both locally on your pc, and on the internet. Websites use cookies to track your visits, and frequency for various reasons. While it is much debated, it is often felt that this is intrusive and unwanted. Here is how to fight back without downloading some shoddy 3rd party application.
In basically any version of Internet explorer, click on tools, then click on Internet Options, click on the "delete" button then check all the boxes, and hit okay. It will probably work for a minute, give it some time if you havent done this before. Once it has completed, close Internet explorer, and reopen it, your browser will now have all history and cookies removed.
Make a practice of this to avoid have your browser weighed down with the cache, and cookies.
